OK, this is one for you Westerners. We launch from Platters and take every twist between Diamond Creek, Macedon and Radio Springs Hotel, deep in the Wombat Forest. The Radio Springs is an unusual but prospering pub set in gardens and with a quirky, movie buff publican.
A short afternoon follows with stops for the awesome view from Mt Blackwood (road condition dependent) and the quaint, isolated Catholic Church at Korobeit (featured in Charlotte's Web the movie). Bacchus Marsh is an early finish option, otherwise the full day is 280 km with a finish over ice-creams at Bulla's Aircraft Viewing Area. You Easterners - do yourself a favour!
