Blow away that post NYE fogginess and start testing those resolutions. The plan covers a lot of territory for what is only 315 km on indirect roads. Start from Healesville, west to Broadford, north to Terip and east to Eildon. Lunch is at Yarck Hotel. The finish point is also Healesville but can be extended to Yarra Junction via Reefton if conditions are good.

This is a light to moderate day led by Armando. The plan is a flush of 'villes' - start from Rowville, lunch at Marysville and finish at Healesville. A side trip to Lake Mountain is on the cards too. That adds to 200 km/ 3:30 hours in the saddle, plus commutes. Lunch will be cool and shady, al fresco style, in an 'Easy' day suited to all.

This is our annual, high summer ride to Licola. It may be a Librarian out front but it is a tough event suited to hardy types who can maintain the speed limit throughout a long, hot and tiring day. And all for a pie. Detail to follow, probable start from Emerald.

    Macquarie River, Ross

The plan is to head straight over the Highlands from Devonport for the first night at Strathgordon. It is followed by two nights at Tullah Lakeside Lodge on the west coast, single nights at Deloraine and St Helens, then a double-header in Hobart to finish. It is a double clockwise swirl that gets the west in first, just to confuse the anti-counterclockwisers.

Features of this Hunt include a multi-option day based from Tullah, quality time in the hills of northern Tasmania, working in the historic town of Ross (pictured) and sampling some new roads down south. The intended route is here. More detail was published in August Desmoto.

The event is capped at 36 riders. Pillions are excluded from the cap and must register separately. Riders, please register for the main event first as you are subject to the count of 36 bikes.

A registration deposit is set at $225 and is required from both riders and pillions. It will be applied to a spread of things including an event T shirt, our breakfast briefing in Devonport, a morning tea at Longford (Day 1), a group dinner at Tullah (Day 3), lunch at Riana on Day 4 and the Tiger Hunt Dinner on our last night in Hobart. Refunds will reduce in line with commitments made by the Club. No refunds will be made after January 28, unless the event is cancelled.

Trip Notes will be issued after registration. They give the full itinerary with everything you need to book ahead. Hunters are urged to make Spirit bookings, at the least, promptly after registration – TT Lines have a sympathetic refund policy and will waive cancellation and amendment fees if the unthinkable eventuates with Covid.

A contact list will be distributed within the group to assist interaction and sharing initiatives. The default is that you are on the list...please advise promptly if you want your email or mobile withheld as the list will go out in the first communication.

A Waitlist will be created should demand exceed places.

Another "Journey through The Wonders Of Central Victoria" with Mark Slater in the yellow vest. Mark has drawn inspiration from a 1931 Marx Brothers movie - who knows what but a pattern is forming with his rides and movie names. The official distance of 210 km is light to compensate for us commuting to him.

Meet 0900hrs at United Fuel Macedon (Black Forest Rd - take the C322 exit off the Calder from Melbourne). A cafe forms part of the servo complex.

Depart 0930hrs via Mt Macedon, Carlsruhe, Sidonia, Mia Mia, Redesdale, Sutton Grange, Faraday, Chewton and Guildford to Newstead for lunch at Dig Cafe (122km).

Afternoon - Hepburn Springs, Daylesford (fuel @ 151 km), Little Hampton, Spring Hill, Carlsruhe and Woodend to finish (210km total).

The date is the Saturday immediately after Easter and so will be an interesting test of enthusiasm. It is also the anniversary of Ducati's famous 1,2 victory at Imola in 1972. It was a watershed day in Ducati's history - what better way to celebrate the 320 km Imola race than with a 320 km ride to Wahalla? Join Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari in spirit over lunch at the Wally pub. Start from Emerald, finish at Officer BP inbound = 323 km, close enough.

This is the yet to be confirmed but usual Sunday before Mothers Day date for the Triumph Owners annual Link Run. It is another opportunity for our classic Ducati owners to strut their stuff, and the rest of us to admire. More detail to follow.

OK, this is one for you Westerners. We launch from Platters and take every twist between Diamond Creek, Macedon and the Radio Springs Hotel, deep in the Wombat Forest. The Radio Springs is an unusual but prospering pub set in gardens and with a quirky, movie buff publican.

A short afternoon follows with stops for the awesome view from Mt Blackwood (road condition dependent) and the quaint, isolated Catholic Church at Korobeit (featured in Charlotte's Web the movie). The day is under 250 km and with a mid-afternoon finish at Bacchus Marsh. You Easterners - do yourself a favour!
