As a part of Motorcycle Awareness Month (MAM) the Motorcycling Community Engagement Panel (MCEP) have created an initiative to launch MAM in the form of this initiative in this special occasion on the foreshore at Transvaal Square from 11am on Saturday October 5.
The event will be attended by Motorcycle Community Engagement Panel (MCEP) members providing demonstrations and education on real world motorcycle issues, and renowned world motorcycle traveller Michelle Lamphere will be one of a host of guest speakers at the event. I have been informed that Merrick Watts will also be a guest speaker being a motorcycling enthusiast. Our own Vice President Rachael Alexander will be in attendance as she is a member of MCEP. We encourage all members to attend and be a part of this initiative and make yourself known in the motorcycling community.
As a part of this initiative I will host a ride to this event starting at the Butler’s Pantry , Rowville at 0800 with a 110km ride to the Sorrento ferry (1000 service) to Queenscliff and then onto Geelong to attend this program of guest speakers and education of motorcycle awareness. Upon conclusion (aprox 1330 - 1400)
I will lead a return ride home via the Sorrento ferry and up through the hills of Gembrook and Launching place for those who live in the north.
So come along and join us of a day of something different and play a part in your motorcycling community.
