This replaces the Lake Mountain ride scheduled on this date and postponed owing to roadwork. It too will start at Yarra Glen at 09:45 and finish at Healesville. There will be a morning stop at Yea and lunch at the heritage Alexandra Hotel.
The day amounts to 3:40 saddle time and 250 km. Two short, 1 km sections of dirt are proposed, one at Kinglake West and one near Alexandra. Nothing challenging but both are avoidable if wanted.
