Ride to lunch in Strathbogie @ Sevens Ck Wagyu

Starting in Healesville with a nice coffee beforehand at the bakery. We'll go for a nice run up the Chum Ck road to Toolangi. Turning left at Glenburn we'll head to Strath Ck. Take in the magnificent hills of Ghin Ghin. A couple more left and rights to Strathbogie.

Lunch will be at Sevens Ck Wagyu. 85 Richards lane , Strathbogie

Lunch is booked for 1230 and will cost be approximately $70 - $100 per person.

This is an excellent opportunity to experience something different than just a usual pub meal. You literally get to cook your own piece of Wagyu to the way you like it on a specially prepared skillet. Wagyu and ingredients are all carefully prepared for you to enjoy on the day. This is quite an experience that I highly recommend. 

Sevens Creek Wagyu is a family-run, Victorian company whole-heartedly committed to ethically raising Wagyu cattle in the traditional Japanese way. After farming Angus cattle for more than 20 years, Sevens Creek Wagyu owner Christine was introduced to the Wagyu breed in 2006. Chris had never tasted anything like it. And you won’t either. Wagyu is a highly flavoursome beef that comes from a Japanese breed of cattle. The marbling in the meat is what gives you that tender, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth experience when you eat it.

Return is pretty much the same in reverse (cause the roads are that good) only we'll do a loop around Euroa first. Maybe even Mt Wombat lookout if you're keen. Finishing up in Kinglake.

All up its about 350km return.
