We've changed plans - we're now having lunch at the White Hart Hotel in Longwood (instead of the Thorpdale Hotel) - so heading north instead of south. This will be an easy'ish ride - Starting at Platters Cafe (not the Butler's Pantry) - up "The Ruler" to Kinglake East, through Strath Creek and to Yea for fuel and coffee. Then up the Highlands plateau to Terip Terip, past Ruffy and down the valley to Longwood for lunch at 1 pm. After lunch its back the way we came,, refuel at Yea, and make you way home to Melbourne around 5 pm (or wherever). All up 370 km. Suitable for confident riders who are happy to ride a mix of 30 km twisties, open country roads and some minor highways.
