The day is Sunday of the ANZAC Day 'long weekend'. It starts from Diamond Creek and is a full morning that takes in Murrindindi, Limestone, a break at Alexandra, Skyline Road to Eildon and eventually Taggerty where a relaxed lunch is proposed at Bonfire Station. The microbrewery and occasion venue has an attractive setting and a simple menu that includes wood-fired pizza.
The morning route has a 4 km section of easy-peasy dirt while the afternoon return is more or less direct to Healesville on Maroondah Hwy and over the Black Spur. Total distance is 235 km, plus commutes.
The cap is 20, guests are welcome, first in best dressed and a waitlist will operate after that. It is likely that we can expand the cap and accommodate those on the waitlist up until the event close off after April 20.
