Big Hot Ride

This is the Big Hot Long Ride to Licola. It originated a number of years ago as a 600 km ride in the hottest time in summer as the Big Belter Ride. We are a little wiser and older these days but make no mistake, this is not a stop, sip latte and chat kind of ride. This is a ride for those who like to keep moving. Stops will be for fuel, personal relief and rehydration only. Departing Emerald and wandering out through Noojee, Willow Grove, and eventually Licola for a pie and sauce, sweating under a tree. Then we head home again via mostly the same roads finishing at the Launching Place hotel for a refreshing ale just like old-timers used to do after 6hrs in the saddle. 

Total distance is 450 Km plus your personal commute. Meet at 9:00am with a full tank and empty bladder. We'll depart at 9:30:00. Ride should conclude around 4:30  pm.
