Hot, Dry and Long Ride to Licola

Distance: 429 (plus commute)

This is a long, hot ride with at least 6 hours in the saddle. Ideal for good to experienced riders only. The ride will be long, the stops reasonably short, the food basic.

Leaving the Emerald Zest Café (fill at BP or Shell on the way in, or the independent next door to the café) for a 9:30 am (SHARP) departure. Tables booked from 8:30am for those seeking breakfast. Café opens at 8:00 am.

Heading out to Moe via Gembrook, Noojee, Willow Grove for fuel (135 km) then up to Licola for a dirty street pie lunch and back to Heyfield for fuel (154 km) then the Old Sale Road back to Nar Nar Goon (134 km) where the ride will end at 4:59:59 pm and a beer at the NNG pub if thirsty.
