You can't keep a good man down. There will be a few goat track "shortcuts" added by you know who as an option for non-tar riders. The alternative bits are on Days and 1 and 2 and marry in with the overall plan. Detail will be given in the itinerary email nearer the time.
Mini Turismo ’22 is heading to East Gippsland. Orbost is base for two nights in a program that includes NSW's Imlay Road for something different. The snaking, 105 km of Bonang Road is of course a highlight.
The official tour is 1150 km and registration will close on or before March 7. It is suited to bike-fit riders with a reasonable level of experience.
Orbost accommodation is motel - an itinerary with route, catering and stay arrangements will be emailed to registrants in the week before. Gippsland Members have options to join on Saturday at Heyfield (fuel) or Briagolong (lunch).
A generous number of motel rooms are reserved. Couples registration is for just that, couples! We will do our best to accommodate those preferring a single room and booking early will help. There is no guarantee of sufficient single rooms. Rooms will be allocated to those opting to share first. The remaining rooms will be allocated to singles on a first come basis. Unsuccessful Single registrations, if any, will revert to sharing and a 50% refund issued. Sound complicated? Possibly, but we aim for the best result for the most people.
