A modest but sharp day that starts from Yarra Glen and finishes at Healesville, or earlier at Launching Place if it suits. There will be stops at Steavenson Falls, Lake Mountain and Reefton Hotel for lunch.
The day amounts to 3:45 saddle time and 180 km. A short, 4 km section of dirt is proposed between Launching Place and Healesville. It is Shire road but avoidable if preferred.
