MotoCAP Open Day

The Motorcycle Clothing Assessment Program (MotoCAP) is opening its doors to the motorcycling community to visit their lab and see the testing of motorcycle clothing up close. You are invited to see how jackets, pants and gloves are tested for MotoCAP, including:

• Abrasion resistance testing
• Impact protector impact testing
• Breathability testing, with a thermal sweating hot plate
• Water spray testing for water resistance.

You’ll also have the opportunity to discuss all things motorcycle gear with MotoCAP Chief Scientist Associate Professor Chris Hurren and his team.
