This new weekend away after a long weekend weekend away ride is the second in a series of weekend rides after a long weekend away. This one is simply a two day ride with an overnight stay in Traralgon. Departing Saturday out of Butler’s, Rowville returning Sunday finishing in Pakenham. Each day will be approximately 350kms with hopefully some new roads to discover.
Saturday’s ride will wander the hills of the Dandenong ranges through Powelltown to lunch in Yarragon. From here we will meander south through Thorpdale , Mirboo North , Boolarra and Churchill before popping out in Traralgon South.
Sunday’s ride will see us travel the magnificent scenery of the Tarra-Bulga National park and then the coastline through Welshpool, Foster and Fish Ck with a quick stop at Agnes Falls. Lunch will be in Tarwin Lower at the Bird & Wolf café. From here it’s an easy coastal cruise through Inverloch and Wonthaggi before heading back up into the hills for a final run through Blackwood forest, Bena, Kongwak and Poowong. Ultimately finishing up in Pakenham.
This time you will organise your own accommodation (as is done by many other motoring clubs)
